My name is Kevin Lizotte AND I am the founder of Millcraft llc.
I founded Millcraft with a passion for precision manufacturing, thoughtful design, and the challenge of turning ideas into well-engineered, functional parts. My approach to fabrication is rooted in both technical expertise and a lifelong curiosity about how things are made.
My introduction to machining came at an early age through my uncle, Gerry. A visit to his workplace gave me my first opportunity to see a professional machine shop in action, and I was immediately fascinated by the process. By thirteen, I had begun my first internship with a company specializing in robotics and communications technology for the defense industry. Recognizing my enthusiasm and willingness to take on challenges, the company’s owner, Mike, became an early mentor and entrusted me with increasingly complex problem-solving opportunities. It was there that I was first introduced to the manual milling machine—an experience that opened the door to a deeper understanding of manufacturing and continues to influence my work today.
I went on to pursue formal training in Advanced Machine Tool Technology at Nashua Community College, where I was selected for an internship with GE Aerospace machining components for jet engines. After graduating, I joined GE Aerospace full-time, working in production before advancing to the tool room, where I became a toolmaker. The work demanded an exceptional level of precision, concentration, and technical problem-solving, with extremely tight tolerances.
I found that environment both challenging and deeply rewarding. Working my way from machinist to toolmaker gave me extensive experience in precision machining, tooling, manufacturing processes, and the practical considerations that go into producing highly accurate components.
That experience ultimately led me to establish Millcraft. Today, I bring that same level of precision and craftsmanship to a broader range of industries, combining manufacturing expertise with creative problem-solving to develop custom components, mechanisms, and fabrication solutions. My goal is simple: to produce work that is not only technically precise, but thoughtfully designed, efficient, and built to perform.
